Attention Math Teachers!

 

Spots are still available in the FEMI II training scheduled for October 29th & 30th at DCB. 

This workshop investigates the concept of learner retention and the importance of retrieval strategies to use in the classroom to increase math achievement. 

The workshop will cover the following: 

  • Curve of Forgetting 
  • Retrieval Strategies 
  • Spaced Learning Over Time (SLOT) 
  • Interleaved Practice Format (IPF)

Holocaust Exhibit Coming to Rugby - Teacher Workshop Scheduled

  The Heart of America Library in Rugby is excited to announce it will host the  Americans and the Holocaust  traveling exhibit in January 2025.  NCEC is partnering with the library to provide graduate credit for educators who attend the free teacher workshop scheduled for Saturday, January 11th from 9 am to 4 pm. Classes grads 6-12 are invited to tour the traveling museum. Schools can schedule tours by contacting the library.
